Mucosal Immunology Our research group focuses on mucosal immunology, with a particular interest in stromal cell and dendritic cell biology. The intestinal mucosa represents the largest surface of the body and is continually exposed to foreign material derived from our diet and the trillions of microorganisms residing within the intestinal lumen.
Essentials of Mucosal Immunology presents basic concepts as well as new and exciting advances in mucosal immunology and inflammation, the development of mucosal vaccines, and the role of the immune system in mucosal disease.
